Navigating the rocky Himalayan terrain, Jigme finds himself in “Gurung Busty” where he discovers the first hydroelectric power plant in India. It was installed in Darjeeling, West Bengal. A project with a capacity of 130 kW was installed at Sidrapong (Darjeeling) in the year 1897. After much adventure and discovery, Jigme was all set to learn how to make “Wachiba”, a traditional Kirat Rai dish at the homestay where he was staying.
