Valentines Day Railfanning between Lexington & High Point NC Featuring a UP Leader & DPU 2/14/2026

As I was going to go out shopping with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day she called me the day before and said that she had some stuff to do so our plans got canceled then I decided to go out and do some railfanning starting off with the video at East 7th Avenue in Lexington with NS 28N after 28N we had a NS 118 with a UP leader & DPU which you rarely see on the way up there I missed Amtrak 71 and I also missed a very late NS 27A after 28N & 118 passed I stopped by in Thomasville to pick up something from Mike’s trains and caught Amtrak 72 after Amtrak 72 went by I went to cross ties for lunch and missed Amtrak 73 then went to High Point for NS 745 NS 24X & Amtrak 75 ended up missing NS 65W after they passed for the last train of the day as it was starting to get dark we catch NS P05 in Archdale Trains Missed Amtrak 71 NS 27A Amtrak 73 NS 65W Amtrak 74 NS 28R NS 119
