A&Z #1085 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus Dwyers' 8lb "Ho-Lee Cow" Loaded Cheeseburger Challenge hosted by Dwyers of Cork in Cork, Co. Cork, Ireland!! After finishing up our 6-state Midwest USA Tour, ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I flew across the pond to Dublin, Ireland so we could spend 40+ days exploring most of the major cities and areas around Ireland. During our travels, I attempted 16 Irish man vs food restaurant challenges. For eating challenge event #10, we headed to Dwyers of Cork located in Cork, Co. Cork, Ireland so we could both attempt and help kick off Dwyers' new "Ho-Lee Cow" 8lb Loaded Irish Cheeseburger Challenge which is Ireland's biggest burger challenge currently available. Cork is located on the River Lee, the inspiration for the "Ho-Lee Cow" Burger Challenge name. I had 1 hour to feast on a 1.5kg Irish beef burger patty topped with cheese and lots of juicy beef brisket on a huge 1.5-2lb freshly baked bun with some healthy vegetables and lots of Dwyers' burger sauce. The challenge included over 1lbs of loaded fries topped with baked beans and burnt ends, and I was trying to become the first champion to win my €130 hamburger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame. Cork, Ireland (€130): Dwyers of Cork has been serving the Cork, Ireland community for many years now. The city of Cork is located on the River Lee, hence the "Ho-Lee Cow" Burger Challenge name. There is a 1.5kg Irish beef burger patty layered with lots of cheese and juicy beef brisket. There are healthy pickles and lettuce on the bottom bun, along with lots of burger sauce. The bun is homemade and weighs around 1.5-2lbs, making this burger weigh ~7lbs total. The challenge includes 1+lbs of loaded fries topped with baked beans and burnt ends. There is a 1 hour time limit to finish. Please schedule your challenge in advance if interested. Winners receive the €130 cheeseburger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and Wall of Fame.
