Ghunna (Nasal Sound): On the word مِّنكُم (minkum) – The doubled “مّ” (Meem with shaddah) has a 2-count nasal sound. Also, مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ (min ayyāmin) – Ghunna appears on the نْ before the hamzah. 2. Ikhfā (Concealment): In مِّنْكُم, the نْ before ك causes the sound to be slightly hidden with nasalization. 3. Idghām (Merging): In فَمَن كَانَ, the نْ merges into كَ with a slight nasal sound. 4. Qalqalah (Echoing Sound): Present on طَعَامُ – the ṭā’ (ط) has a strong heavy sound. Also in فِدْيَةٌ – the dāl (د) carries a light bounce when stopping on it. 5. Madd (Elongation): أَيَّامًا – Madd is stretched 2 counts for the small Alif (natural madd). خَيْرٌۭ and تَعْلَمُونَ – Madd letters are extended 2–4 counts depending on stopping. 6. Rules of Raa (ر): خَيْرٌۭ لَّهُۥ – The Raa (ر) is heavy due to the Fatha vowel before it. 7.
