Rhythm Heaven Megamix Playthrough Part 3

In this part, we go through Barbershop Land, Songbird Land, and The Third Gate. We help out Hairold and Eglantine along with meeting Trey. These are the levels shown in this part: Sneaky Spirits: From the original Rhythm Tengoku, this game has you shooting pesky ghosts with arrows as they pop up from the wall to the beat of the music. You need to fire an arrow at the PERFECT time to strike them. A weird thing to mention is that I got the Skill Star on my first try off-screen, but while recording and hearing less of the game's audio (I don't hear the game's audio as much as you guys do because it's recorded through my laptop), I kept messing up the Star. At least I got it after like, 6 tries! Rhythm Rally: Not NEARLY as frustrating as it is in the DS Rhythm Heaven. You just need to simply hit the ball back and forth to the music. The fast balls from the original game aren't in this one, but the slow ones still are. Flipper-Flop: From Rhythm Heaven Fever, this level has you pressing A and making your harp seal flip with the others. When the captain says to do a flipper-roll you just need to press B instead of A to make the harp seal roll. The fast flips from the original game aren't present in this one. LumBEARjack: This is a level that's completely new. All you have to do is chop logs with your ax shortly after the cats place them on the stump. Occasionally, there will be big logs that require two swings to break apart instead of one. Those background cats are an amazing distraction. Power Calligraphy: This stage is back from the original Rhythm Tengoku, and it's not altered at all. All you have to do is press A at the right time to complete a perfect stroke with your brush. Depending on the part of each character, you'll have to press A at different times. The Skill Star is definitely one of the tougher ones, especially since it's in the middle of the stage. Blue Birds: This stage was originally from Rhythm Heaven on the DS. I think it's actually a bit trickier here without Stylus controls. Good thing you can always change between button and Stylus controls in this game! Anyway, this level isn't altered either. You either need to peck three times or peck in unison and spread your wings at the same time as the other birds. This Skill Star is even worse than Power Calligraphy's as it's at the very end of the stage. Flock Step: It's nice to see my favorite stage from Rhythm Heaven Fever make a return. Like the others in this set, the actual level isn't altered at all from the original. You just need to tap A to the beat of the music and march with the other birds. Press B to make your bird squat and then release to make it jump back up. The Skill Star here is also pretty tough, but I was lucky enough to get it on my first try here. Super Samurai Slice: This is a new stage introduced in this game and OH MY GOD IT'S EXTREMELY GOOD. The Samurai levels always have a tendency to be some of the best. You just have to slice the demons to the beat of the music in the same fashion that they pop up on screen. For the big demons, you have to pause, hold B to block it, and then release B to defeat it. Oh yeah, and there's a skateboard that comes out of nowhere. Yeah, I love this level. Charging Chicken: This is the third challenge and a brand new mini-game introduced in Megamix. All you have to do is pump up your car to the beat of music while counting down in your head and release IMMEDIATELY at 0. If you do it just right, you should drive to the next ledge without teetering off of it or falling a little short. Paprika's version of the challenge is pretty tough during the fast 8 pump, but I managed to do it my first try while recording. That's always good!
