Today I'm excited to share with you this Golden Hills painting, done with my new favourite palette knife technique. You only need three colours of paint to follow this demonstration! Full list below: Paper: Saunders Waterford 100% cotton HP (hot press) weight 140lb, size a quarter imperial. Paints: Payne's Grey from Winsor & Newton Cotman range, Cobalt Blue Greenshade from Davidson's Pigments (Etsy link above), and Deep Gold from Royal Talent Van Gogh range of watercolour tube paints. Brushes: a large Daler Rowney Aquafine 'Skyflow' 2 inch flat synthetic wash brush; a small Pro Arte 'Sword' liner brush; a synthetic Da Vinci 'Colin' flat brush size 12; and a Pro Arte 'Masterstrokes' Series 60 miniature brush size 4/0.
