UC Agriculture and Natural Resources is home to seven Research & Extension Centers (RECs) across California. Hopland REC is located in Mendocino County and comprises more than 5,300 acres of oak woodland, grassland, chaparral, and riparian environments. It is a multi-disciplinary research and education facility and has provided space for the study and understanding of the natural world for more than seven decades. In this video, we explore what it means to be a Hopland Scholar, and show some of the many lives that have been improved by the Hopland Scholars Fund.
