The Arctic Henge is located near the village of Raufarhofn, believed to be the closest populated area to the Arctic circle in northern Iceland. The Arctic Henge was completed around 2004 - an artwork created by the local community and artists, it draws inspiration from the endless surrounding flat terrain and the famous Stonehenge of England.
