Currently working on "Written in Sleep". I felt compelled to stop working on that work for a moment and pursue "Black Hole Rabbit". I have no idea why i do these things...But generally, I find out down the road. There's always a reason. A friend of mine once asked if he should take a break from everything and try to "find himself"... I said, "If that's something you feel you need to do then I suppose you're going to have to find something to be passionate about. Find a purpose, dedicate yourself to it and pursue it naively with every ounce of authenticity and pride your mind, body, and spirit allows until you reach the end of the road. Don't stop until it has taken every bit of life out of you and you are left with nothing - lost in your idealistic pursuit ...You must embark on this quest. He replies "I don't know man, that sounds like a lot..." I responded "We could play hide and seek like kids, but the only "You" that you will find is the same person you feel the need to get away from. So...You want to find yourself? Get lost...I've never heard of anyone in the history of the planet finding something that wasn't lost and no one was searching form, have you? No...So unfortunately, you will have to leave the house. You're not finding anything sitting around here in your bathrobe now that Walmart delivers and you can work from home in your underwear." The Black Hole Rabbit is a vigilante of sorts. It's the personality type that follows a rabbit hole so far down that when they return they bare no resemblance to the person that has returned. As if the rabbit hole took them somewhere and left them. I think we all have a bit of this personality type in us. I know where my Black Hole Rabbit took over. Do you?
