From the designer: “The Unagi Asymmetrical Clutch is perfect for your grab and go needs. The small size can clip to your keys for carrying a couple cards when you don’t want to carry more. Medium is perfect for quick trips, just big enough to hold most phones, some cards, and lip balm. The large is great for a day out, large enough to hold the necessities, but small enough not to be in the way.” The pattern includes three sizes, and is considered an advanced beginner pattern. Exterior fabric is from Oh So Pretty (https://ohsoprettycustomfabric.com/pr.... In this tutorial we will be adding vertical card slots, sewing an angled zipper, and using an alternative method of sewing the exterior and lining and side seams at the same time. To figure out the measurements for adding card slots to the large size Unagi wristlet clutch, measure the height and width of your lining pattern piece and use the following as a rough guide: Cut a card slot piece measuring (HEIGHT + 6”) x 7 ⅞”. Cut TWO side panel pieces, each measuring [(WIDTH - 6”) / 2] x HEIGHT If in doubt, cut the side panel pieces wider and the central card slot piece taller and trim to size after sewing.
