Sushant Singh Rajput's close friend Ganesh Hiwarkar meets Anna Hazare to discuss SSR death case

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s untimely and tragic demise on June 14, 2020, has sent shock waves across the nation. His death case is still being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and Enforcement Directorate (ED). It's been 7 months since the actor left for the heavenly abode, and fans are concerned about the delay in the conclusion of the investigation. Now, taking to his Twitter account SSR's close friend and choreographer Ganesh Hiwarkar shared a picture with Anna Hazare with whom he discussed the late actor's death case. Hiwarkar also wrote a letter and explained the current situation in the ongoing investigation of Sushant's murder. He also requested fans to help him meet RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. In the latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput's ongoing death case, the Bombay High Court has now reserved its order on a plea filed by sisters of the late actor Meetu and Priyanka Singh, to quash the FIR filed against them by SSR's then-girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty on September 7 at the Bandra police station, alleging abetment of his suicide. They have been booked under Sections 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 464 (making a false document, 465 (punishment for forgery), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), 474 (having possession of document), and 306 (abetment of suicide) of the Indian Penal Code along with provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.  A senior advocate, appearing for Maharashtra, pointed to WhatsApp messages and said they revealed that Priyanka had prescribed medicines for the actor without online consultation. Hence it was a matter of investigation, whereas Rhea's lawyer Satish Maneshinde contended that SSR's sister Priyanka knew that the actor was taking medicines and narcotic substances. He defended Rhea by saying, 'After Ms Chakraborty got to know that the medicines were prescribed by a doctor who the actor never consulted, she filed the complaint'. Appearing for the sisters, senior advocate Vikas Singh, argued that there was no evidence against them and said the medicines referred to by Ms. Chakraborty could have been referred to by doctors through telemedicine as per the Indian Council of Medical Research guidelines. After hearing both the sides, the Bench then observed, 'From his face, one can make out that he was innocent and sober and a very good human being. Even in MS Dhoni. Everybody likes him, especially in that film' and reserved the order. Meanwhile, Sushant’s fans continued to raise their voice, and seek ‘justice’ with events across the country, and social media initiatives. They also have plans for January 21, on his 35th birth anniversary.
