The day before, I had found out that walking everywhere in D.C isn't necessarily advisable for someone without training and the appropriate footwear. While recording this, my feet were close to complete collapse. I'm aware you sometimes catch glimpses of the dead cat (wind shield) on the stereo microphone, this was my first time doing anything like this, you live and learn... I removed a short speech given by an Army Veteran, as much as I would have liked to have left it in, I don't feel it would have been appropriate to do so without his permission. He was a brilliant and inspirational man, and if this video ever becomes monetised, I will donate any revenue this video generates to supporting people like him.
