ANTONOV AN124 LANDING + DEPARTURE - The rarest An124 in the world - Maximus Cargo (4K)

This Antonov An124 is definitly a rare sight. There are just three civilian An124 operators worldwide and Maximus Air Cargo is one of them. Maximus only operates a single Antonov, with the registration UR-ZYD. The airplane is based somewhere in the UAE, i assume Al Ain and it mainly operates cargo charter flights in the near east and africa. Sometimes it also shows up in europe. I filmed it at Liege while it operated a cargo charter flight to turkey. It already visited Liege earlier this year but the luck wasn` t on my side. When arrived in february dense fog suddenly appeared and I was barely able to see the Anotonov on the runway. This time the weather was quite ok and I was happy with the result. The sound of the Antonov is quite characteristic and it is always a pleasure to hear the sound of this massive bird when it takes off. Last month it visited Leipzig Airport for maintenance. I hope to see it again someday.
