(1 Corinthians 9:16‭-‬17 KJV) KEY MEDITATION: To keep functioning correctly all on your own in a business, in a school, in a ministry, or in a marriage without the motivation of an external force requires a total commitment. Remember that to be successful does not mean that you are functioning correctly! But to function correctly means that you are successful in God's terms. A sinner may function correctly occasionally, but a sinner can not successfully commit to doing good all of the time unless God's grace first makes him or her good! Consistent good works are only done by those who have been made good by grace to operate with the mind of Christ. The capacity to be committed to the matters of the kingdom of God by a free choice is a product of grace. Anybody can give you a list of what to do and you keep doing them because of the supervisor but those who carry the grace of God are supernaturally on the list of those who are good and are naturally doing good. I am talking about the grace for commitment here. Those who are genuinely committed to God by grace don't have any alternative to God and His word. I'm convinced that where grace exists, so must the commitment to please God exist. A true grace is the joy of being liberated to think correctly on your own and to all on your own be committed to serving God; doing the right things at the right time not once in a while but all of the time without any enforcement. Did you hear the sound of Paul's commitment to grace in today's anchor scripture?
