Carving a Ankh Necklace from a Riverstone!!!

Hey Hey everybody! This is just a little experiment to test out my new fancy pants diamond bits, they finally arrived! Woo Hoo!! I ended up getting a cheap little rotary tool to test them out. It’s not the best quality by any stretch of the imagination but it seems to do the job OK. There is quite a bit of play in the end so it’s quite hard to get the fine detail that I want. I’ll still be saving for a better Dremel but for now, just do the best you can with what you got! I think it turned out pretty well and I know a few people who want it already :) The next video should be the Ying Yang necklace made from a riverstone. Some of you may be thinking, “Jeebuz! This guy does a lot of Ying Yangs!” and you would be right with that thought. I do a lot of Ying Yangs for a few reasons; the main reason is just because its by far my favourite symbol, I really like what it stands for. The second reason is that people seem to like them, the Ying Yang projects are some of my quickest sellers. The final reason and possibly the best reason is because the Ying Yang is a great symbol to try if you’re working with new material. It’s got a bit of everything; circles, tight curves and carving a recess while keeping a protrusion to name a few. I always encourage people to try a Ying Yang if they are not sure how a material will carve. Ankh Necklace Dimensions: Height - Approximately 5.2 centimetres (at tallest part) Width - Approximately 3.1 centimetres (at widest part) Thickness - Approximately 1 centimetre (at thickest part) Let me know what kind of content you would like to see on my channel and as always, I Hope you are all having a splendiferous day!!
