In the early morning of April 21, 2023, a massive fire erupted at Highland High School in Pocatello, destroying the gymnasium, cafeteria, band and choir rooms, and adjacent facilities. The cause was determined to be accidental—stemming from an electrical failure near the stage in the cafeteria. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but the loss was deeply felt by students, staff, and the community. Drone Perspective Services was contacted by the city’s Public Information Officer to document the event from above. This video provides aerial documentation of the fire’s impact, offering a powerful, respectful visual record of the damage and the surrounding campus. Our footage serves not only as a historical record but also as a testament to the community’s resilience and resolve in the face of a devastating event.
