HAPPY (belated) HALLOWEEN!! I made this on Oct. 31st to submit as a Halloween video. However, as I worked more with the music, it became much less a Halloween Kraehe video than a tribute to Rue/Kraehe. I think that this is a very beautiful, emotional instrumental, and it covers a number of emotions in such a short period of time! How a song can be forboding, playful, calm, lonely, dramatic, sweet and mysterious all in 1:30 and still sound so poignant is baffling to me. Also, I think this high of an amount of mood-swingy-ness fits Rue and her emotional instability perfectly. Song: Miss Gulch's Theme (a.k.a. The Wicked Witch Flies) From: The Wizard of Oz Performed By: The MGM Orchestra With: Harold Arlen, E.Y. Harburg and Herbert Stothart Anime Footage: Princess Tutu Credits Music: Hide and Seek By: Imogen Heap This video has no subtitles! =) WARNING: SPOILERS! for the entire Princess Tutu series. I had several things in mind with this. One of the special effects I used symbolically is footage of a black swan spreading her wings. You'll notice that this is actually footage from act 22 of Tutu(swan version) protecting Fakir. I inverted the footage to make the swan black, and used it to symbolize Kraehe spreading her wings defiantly while slowly fading away in the depths of despair. Obviously, You'll notice a few masking effects and image overlays. There was one part that I didn't think timed too well, but otherwise I like this video. Especially since the only part of this song I'd heard before yesterday was the very beginning! Made with Windows Movie Maker and VEGAS Movie Studio(Platinum Edition). Video associated with my fan-site, Princess Tutu: Light of Hope. http://www.freewebs.com/princesstutu-... For the record, this is my 8th completed Princess Tutu AMV, but I have been making videos for around two years. NOTE: I do not own(or claim to own) Princess Tutu, MGM's piece "Miss Gulch's Theme" or Imogen Heap's "Hide and Seek". This video is purely fan-made for the fun of it, folks. Please remember to rate and comment! Thank you!
