The latest TRAP and RADIOTRAP remote control transmitters have the ability to request an 'acknowledgement' signal back from a paired transmitter, which tells the end user if they have successfully operated their paired relay. Particularly useful if you are switching something over a long distance in a separate location that you cannot actually see. This video shows how the acknowledgement feedback feature works, as well as how to set this on both the TRAP and RADIOTRAP transmitters. The TRAP (LoRa) Systems have 5 different operating modes which can be used to increase the operating distance. Supplied in FM, the installer can also use LoRa modes 1, 2, 3 and 4 to increase the range up to a maximum of 10 kilometres open line of sight. Ideal if the system is operating over a long distance or in a busy switching environment. This quick tutorial shows how easy it is to set the mode of operation!
