As requested by Olivia 757, Beethoven's Contradanse No. 12 was covered with the Pokémon DPP soundfont. For convenience's sake and to avoid any future bloat, I decided to put all the twelve contredanses in one video. Being one of many of Beethoven's earlier compositions that he never published in his lifetime, the Twelve Contredanses aren't particularly sophisticated when compared to his published oeuvre. However, they are still a great showcase for the composer's growing talent in creating lovable melodies, all of them exuding the livelier side of his musical personality. This set is also historically significant; for those already acquainted with Beethoven, Contredanse No. 7 will sound familiar. Beethoven would grow quite fond of its tune and would go on to use it in his ballet "The Creatures of Prometheus", compose a masterful set of piano variations on it, and last but certainly not least, use it as the main theme of the Finale of his Eroica Symphony.
