This winter wonderland, often dubbed the "Alps of the East,” is an integrated resort that offers a unique blend of skiing, snowboarding, leisure and cultural experiences. 🏂 Skiing & Snowboarding Terrain -Xiling Snow Mountain boasts 10 km of ski slopes, serviced by 5 lifts, situated between elevations of 2,200 and 2,400 meters . The resort caters to all skill levels with: 🔵 Beginner (Blue) Slopes: Ideal for newcomers to the sport. 🔴 Intermediate (Red) Slopes: Perfect for those looking to refine their skills. One of the shortest at 900m only. ⚫ Advanced (Black) Slopes: Challenging runs for seasoned enthusiasts. Connects to tree runs/freestyle park. While the resort is relatively compact, it offers a mix of freestyle, freeride, and all-mountain terrains, making it suitable for both skiers and snowboarders. They offer rentals from top to bottom, helmets to equipment, including ski/snowboard coaches that you can hire directly on the spot. 🌟 Travel Tips -Best Time to Visit: December to March, with peak skiing conditions in January and February. -Getting There: Approximately a 2-hour drive from Chengdu. Didi incredibly does reach here. -Accommodation: Consider staying at the mountain base for better hotel conditions and easier access to supplies. Wifi is not good in the hotels up in the mountains, but you get convenience. -Activities: Don't miss the scenic spots like Ri Yue Ping for sunrise views and Yuanyang Pool for various snow activities. 🚗 I take you on a scenic journey from Chengdu to Xiling Snow Mountain, capturing the beautiful landscapes along the way.
