If you want to do your own lasering on titanium and other metals, you can purchase a fiber laser like this 50W one: https://amzn.to/36NBdbB Instructions and settings for using the fiber laser to make deep black etchings in the titanium Marksmith bolt part. The example being laser marked is our own MARKSMITH Titanium Bolt-Action Permanent Marker. You can purchase MARKSMITH here, and we can also engrave it for you. http://marksmithti.engineerable.com The laser used in the video for this marking is a 20W Rofin Sinar Powerline Fiber Laser. These used to be crazy expensive, but the price has come down a lot since I purchased ours. Fortunately, it has been very durable with minimal maintenance required. The settings should be applicable to other similar power fiber lasers. All the settings are shown in the video. The laser is focused on the top surface of the material. FREQUENCY: The frequency is set low, at 20khz. I found 20kHz to provide the best results. POWER: The power is set to maximum at 100% SPEED: The speed is set to 300mm/s PASSES: About 50 passes required for a deep engraving #laser #etch #titanium #engrave #engraving #fiberlaser #sharpie #marker #pen The products shown here were purchased by me with the intent to use them.
