A look at Blackburn Railway Station on the evening of Wednesday 22nd July 2015. Blackburn was extensively rebuilt in 2000 as the original station featuring an overall roof was in extremely poor condition. The station is served by Northern Rail with services between Blackpool North and York, Blackpool South and Colne and Manchester Victoria to Clitheroe via Bolton and Manchester Victoria via Todmorden. The station sees much in the way of steam specials and on this video we see LMS 5MT 45231 'The Sherwood Forester' with the return working of 'The Fellsman'.
