To invite this group for a live concert, please visit https://indianraga.com/live or email [email protected] Jugalbandhi of Bharatanatyam and This popular Hindi Thillana composed by Swathi Thirunal in Dhanashree raga, Adi Talam, in praise of Lord Padmanabha, is presented here as a dance Jugalbandhi that highlights similarities and differences between two Indian classical dance genres. The choreography, by Rachana Rao and Deepthi Kotamraju, of this joyous dance duet uses rhythm, synchronization and timing to accentuate the graceful movements and expressive Abhinaya of both dance genres that are combined in this piece. Dancers Rachana Rao, Deepthi Kotamraju and Sharanya Swaminathan perform to Thillana 2.0 Dhanashree by Sharanya Srinivas (Vocals) and Mahesh Raghvan (GeoShred).
