Aerial Drone Views of Cowbury Reservoir & Buckton Moor - Tameside, Manchester

The surprisingly little-known Cowbury Reservoir is on the edge of Carrbrook, Stalybridge. Right on the border of Tameside in Greater Manchester. You might have read about it recently in the news, as a site that was victim to a rare British Tornado! Buckton Moor just edges off the end of the Peak District, but is directly attached by the moorland, and you wouldn't notice the difference to walk over the invisible border there into the Peaks. It's a nice quiet spot that gets it's fair share of locals walking up on the weekends and evenings, but it's much more peaceful than nearby Brushes or Dovestone Reservoirs. Later in the video I pass over the edge of Buckton Castle and Buckton Vale Quarry. Worth a peek on their own for interest.
