It lives in our classrooms, hallways, stories, fields, labs, courts and relationships. It’s when our teachers go above and beyond to meet our students’ needs – spending extra time at lunch, connecting them with critical resources, creating safe spaces. It's wanting our students to be well rounded critical thinkers, creative problem solvers, respectful, have a global perspective and explorers of their communities. Here in the Berkley School District, we're setting the table to make a difference in our students' lives and encourage them to do the same.
