It carried people from Sausalito to San Francisco Ferry Building, it carried cars too as they became more common and before the bridges were built. This ferryboat is located at the Hyde ST. Pier. It's on a pier with other historic boats and ships. The cost is $15 (as of now in Feb 2020) to see all of them and your ticket is good for one week. Double check the prices incase they have changed. This is a great family outing, it's so much fun to let the kids explore and learn about these pieces of history.
