#2 Layout Update: Initial Thoughts for Maximising the Baseboard Area

A short video taking a slightly closer look at the space available in the loft for the layout, as well as a few initial ideas for baseboard framing and construction. I used SketchUp to create a scale model of the loft, so make dry runs possible and hopefully fend off any obvious problems at the pass! It' takes a while to draft it all, but once it's done the beauty is that you can try out all sorts of permutations without cutting a single piece of timber. Anyhow, I'm really keen to get folks' thoughts on whether or not this is a good approach. Are there any glaring issues? Has anyone constructed a 'sitting down' loft layout before? I'm a bit concerned there won't be enough room to get into the fiddle yard area, but not sure what alternative options there are, so any thoughts would be most welcome.
