國立臺灣大學生物科技研究所於民國九十五年成立，以培育跨領域生物高階專業人才為目標，使本所畢業生未來能在組織工程與再生醫學、基因體與蛋白質體學，以及結構生物與生物資訊領域擔綱關鍵角色。本所的教育目標內涵為：專業知識、科技整合理念與研發精神的養成、生物科技倫理的認知以及產業與國際視野的擴展。除生物科技的核心課程外，另有多項選修課程可供選修。此外，所有專業課程已全數採用英文教學，並延攬國際傑出師資來台授課及參與研究。亦經常舉辦國際學術交流研討會，鼓勵師生出國參與國際會議，或赴國外相關研究室研習，以拓展學生國際視野。 臺大生科所網址 : http://www.iob.ntu.edu.tw/ The Institute of Biotechnology in NTU was founded in 2006 to foster high-level cross-disciplinary biotechnology professionals. Graduates are expected to play crucial roles in fields including tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, genomics and proteomics, structural biology and bioinformatics. The institute's educational goals are: buildup of professional knowledge and technology integration philosophies, cultivation of the spirit of research and development, ethics in biotech, and expansion of industry and international perspective. Asides from the biotech core courses, there are a variety of optional courses to choose from. In addition, all professional courses are taught in English and the institute recruits many outstanding international scholars to teach and to research. The institute also frequently holds international academic symposium, and encourages faculty and students to participate in international conferences or study abroad, to gain an international perspectives.
