Petrochemical Industry requires a consistency of policy to encourage FDI into the sector. Razak Dawood points out it is one of the two most important sectors (other being steel) that Pakistan needs to invest in to increase exports. If petro-chemical industry is developed it will add approximately 1% pa to GDP growth, 50,000 direct and indirect jobs will be created and much more.
