Vibration reduction plate for Royal enfield | Installation & Review

This review is post installation of carberry vibration reduction plate on my #royalenfield continental GT. So we are trying to find a fix for royal enfield vibrations within the engine in 2018 unlike handlebar vibration fix in 2017. This is a more technical solution for fixing vibrations and minimizing them between speeds of 60km to 90kmph which are crucial for continental GT.Carberry claims that the engine #vibrationreductionplate is designed in such a way that it supports and stabilizes the RH crankshaft.This vibration reduction plate is currently designed for the royal enfield's powered by UCE(Unit Construction Engine). I will cover the important aspects of this vibration plate post installation on: a. Handlebar vibrations post change of vibration reduction plate. b. Idle start vibration post change. c. Vibrations post 60kmph. 4. Vibrations on chassis post change. The existing plate covers the cam wheel on the right side below the clutch housing. There are three cam wheels altogether. The existing plates arrangement causes tension on the crankshft resulting in vibrations at higher rotations. The vibration reduction plate of carberry is fitted after the gear that drives the cam wheels. There are visors to fit on cam wheels and also a bearing on the crankshaft which sits on the vibration reduction plate thus offering better support and less tension on crank shaft. You can use this vibration reduction plate on all the existing UCE models of royal enfield named; Royal enfield standard, royal enfield classic, royal enfield thunderbird, royal enfield electra, royal enfield continental gt. This is applicable for 350cc, 500cc models.I am not sure about Himalayan's engine construction. Claims by carberry in its official page is: 1. Stabilization of uneven distribution of mass around the axis. 2. No backlash between the pinion and cam wheel on any angle of rotation. 3. Vibration reduction of royal enfield UCE engines between speeds of 60-90 kmph. 4. Increasing the life of bearings. 5. Reducing the cam wheel wear and lower long term wear on the teeth.
