Race To 99 Necromancy in RuneScape - Bar Chart Animation

This video shows a visualization of the race to 99 Necromancy, which is based on screenshots that were taken by the moderators of the RuneScape Memories group on Facebook. Necromancy was released at 1:10PM BST (UK Time) on 7th August. Screenshots were initially taken every 15 minutes and later on every 30 minutes, until 99 Necromancy was reached by the first players just 24 hours later. A few important remarks: -Whereas the hiscores update only after logging out, this timelapse ignores that and continues updating a player’s Necromancy xp as if logging out wasn’t necessary for the hiscores to update. Therefore, this timelapse represents the live situation better than the hiscores situation. As a consequence, the bar chart race may not always be an exact match with the hiscore situation as you would see on screenshots. A new version of this video with just the screenshots and no animation will be uploaded later. -Two players, Iron TNT and T Y T S, were for a few hours after the skill’s release visible at the top of the hiscores with a disproportionally high amount of xp. It turns out this xp was obtained via a bug. Jagex later reset the xp of these players. I’ve therefore chosen to exclude both of them from the timelapse animation. -At some point in the race to 99, player M I W changes their name into NecroIsTrash. I’ve chosen to use the new name throughout the entire video in order to avoid confusion.
