#worldofwarcraft #wowchallenge #rogue Zekvir's Lair with a rogue is just dreadful. The way this encounter is designed to interact with rogue abilities causes all sorts of problems. This took me more attempts than I'd care to share and became more infuriatingly unfair than challenging. Build: CMQAA0tw2gAD7pPTLoW5IGZDeMzMzMMmBDAAAAAAzmxsMDAAAAAAttNzMjHwDMYmZWmtZmZMwYmZmxMb2GzAsYWGYALBLDTghlB Brann (60): Healer, Porcelain Arrowhead, Amorphous Relic. I opted for double charges of vanish to counter the spittle ability. There are some caveats. Do not vanish if Brann is dead, or you don't have a dinosaur/monkey in combat. This will likely reset the encounter, which is really annoying (especially in execute range). After a few wipes, the encounter starts to behave strangely. Brann will occasionally open the fight by setting a campfire, which is almost always disastrous unless you wish to burn evasion early. Zekvir might also randomly hit you with the last special attack from the previous attempt, which is just instant fail. If this begins to happen, leave the delve and restart. This encounter, unless playing as a gnome I imagine, is even more reliant on good luck than the other classes I've completed. Try to open with enough DPS to force the heal before the first spittle. It's a nicer pattern to deal with incoming damage. Let Brann dispel the first spittle (if he does, of course, sometimes he just walks out of the room). Watch out for Brann's yellow circle around you, because you can soak a spittle with that on you without debuffs. Try to use cloak of shadows for reliable spittle counter. Every use of vanish is a potential reset (especially if Brann is 'avin a wee rest). Good luck with this one. This was less fun and more cruel. Blizzard should look at this, in my opinion.
