Eight Excellent Days in Zambia

As my trips go, this time in Livingstone, Zambia, 2023, was certainly one of the more comfortable. The weather was a thrilling 35C most days. We stayed in the Radisson Blu Mosi-Oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort which was on the banks of the Zambezi River. In the evenings, while I swam in the pool, I could hear the calls of the hippopotamus. My work colleagues were great, the conference itself - ABLI 2023 - was interesting, and we got to visit Victoria Falls. Our flights from England even went via Johannesburg. Having grown up in South Africa I knew that airport like the back of my hand. I even got to eat some caterpillar!
