(8 Aug 1994) Sremska Raca, normally the busiest border crossing between Serbia and Bosnia, was quiet on Monday (8/8), four days after Yugoslavia closed the border and severed ties with Bosnian Serbs. Since August 4, when the Yugoslav government decided to break off its economic and political ties with the Bosnian Serbs, only shipments of goods such as food, clothing and medicine, exempted from the decision, were to be allowed to enter Bosnia.
