Kimmy Repond Gold🥇: NRW AUTUMN TROPHY 2020

After a long period of waiting I had the chance to start for the first time in my career at an international junior competition in Dortmund Germany. Many thanks to the “Deutsche Eislauf-Union” organizing this event. I enjoyed the ice rink and also the environment even there were no people at the hall. But it has been showed that with a clear and professional protection concept it is possible to manage such an event. Many thanks also to my Coach Xavier Dias who really took care about me during the whole period. To start the first time at such an event was special and I was a little bit more nervous then normally!But I performed and did my 2 programs with no mistake. Honestly I was really proud for this result near to 170 points. 🥇 But now the next level has to be my objective. I have to find a way to move slowly but surely towards the 200 points. ⛸ I know this is not easy and very hard work is needed also in the combination of my target in the school. 👩‍💻 But my dad told me once there was a president in the US saying years ago….“YES WE CAN“....💖 This competition I had also another challenge. It was the birthday of my dad and as he was not allowed to come to Germany I promised him to make my program without mistake as my „special“ birthday present to him. 🎁🎂 So I was thinking like one president of the United States….YES I CAN…..and I did. 💖 Honestly I am very happy. Next weekend I will start in Switzerland the first time in the category Elite (Senior) and I am interested to see my performance on that level.
