Chasing the Noise: 1956 BSA Gold Star DB34 Gearbox Overhaul

In part 2 of this Mighty Garage series, I dismantle the gearbox on Ron's 1956 BSA Gold Star DB34 to try and find the source of the chattering noise — but the strange noise that we heard during the first start after six years is still present! Isn’t it funny how one job or visit can lead to so many more with our old classic motorcycles!? What started off as a quick visit a couple of months ago to see Ron start his 1955 DB34 Gold Star for the first time in 6 years turned into a bit of an adventure. The clutch plates were stuck. Ron then brought his bike over to Geoff's place to test that the Dynamo was working as it did not seem to be charging.
