Day 2 Unfolds of Farmers' Delhi Chalo Protest Amid Police Preparations | Farmers' Protest

The second day of the farmer's 'Delhi Chalo' protest has begun amidst wide-ranging preparations by the police in Haryana and Delhi. Farmers from various parts of India are participating in this protest. The national capital and its borders have been fortified with materials like concrete slabs, iron nails, and barbed wires. Delhi police, maintaining a strict stance on the protesters blocking the Shambhu border, stated that the protesters cannot be given a chance to gain ground and enter the national capital using their own tractors. The police have issued warnings to the protesting farmers, indicating they would not be defensive in case matters escalate. To preserve law and order, a section 144 has been imposed in the designated regions.
