A historical reenactment of King Canute (Cnut) set on Bude Beach in Cornwall, UK, April 2014 using only stones, sand and sea with the expert analysis coming from Match of the Day (MOTD) pundits Gary Lineker, Alan Hansen, Mark Lawrenson & Alan Shearer. It is said King Cnut didn't want to show he could make the tide and waves not come in but in fact show that he couldn't, which has been perfectly highlighted in this video of the event to show the Atlantic can not be held back, even by the most royal of persistent pebbles. The sandcastle was created to withstand several of the Atlantic's waves but due to Canute's failure it was sadly washed away, although preserved it this time-capsule of a video. I hope you enjoy the video as a light-hearted memories for a wonderful day at the beach for my first full day for over 3 months with my wonderful two daughters since being snatched away 100s of miles from their home and father in Cornwall by their mother. MOTD theme music and pundit commentary is the property of the BBC and used (as partly own as a license payer!) purely of a fun hobby video with no earning intent or capacity. The crowd sound effects (oops sorry but not real) courtesy of www.Freesfx.co.uk 'Dad' also plays in, and makes videos, for his band, Littermouth, www.littermouth.co.uk'
