Tripod Rear Support Drill

Using a tripod for rear support efficiently and effectively takes a lot of practice. This drill has worked well for me. What you need: Precision rimfire rifle Case of 22LR 100 to 150 yards Small-ish targets (around 0.4 mils / 1.5 MOA) Barricade with at least 10 possible positions, variety for heights Tripod/plate bag Set a goal of a105 second par time, but go a slow as you need to build every position and break every shot perfectly. 10 positions, 1 round each. Run it on repeat until you can consistently clean it within the par time. Then add additional targets (i.e. near/far, left/right, etc.). You can do it with dryfire, but it's not very fun and there is no feedback.
