The 12 still records orientation, g-forces, and camera settings And you can record the GPS data externally and sync it to the video in Telemetry Overlay. How? The easiest way is to record a GPX file with your iPhone or Android phone On iPhone, you can use the GPX Trail Tracker app. For best results, set the app Distance filter to zero and export a GPX with TrackPoints, not WayPoints On Android, the GPS Logger app works well. Well, you can still get a HERO11 Black, with practically the same hardware as the HERO12, plus the best GPS module any GoPro ever had DJI also introduced their first GPS-capable action cam with the Osmo Action 4. Early analysis shows great data quality. Don’t forget to use their GPS remote. The same applies to Insta360 cameras. The GPS remote is compatible with many of their models, 360 or not. Interestingly, old GoPro cameras like the HERO4 Silver, Black, and HERO5 Session could be connected to a Polar watch like the V800 to record basic fitness metrics like speed, altitude, or heart rate.
