Notes about the shots: ----- 0:01 Old photo I found in a box, dates back to 1940's. 0:30 On the right you have the court. This place used to have many stores all along the street, now most of them are closed. 5:38 This is the chapel of São Vicente, where it is said the martyr São Vicente appeared to the population. There are many different legends about this, hard to know which one is right. So in 1694 ( or 1692) they built this chapel to honor the saint. 6:58 The construction of the church started in 1591 and finished in 1911, i'm not sure why it says 1943 on the ground, maybe some more restauration was done around that time.
