To answer any shifting questions or confusions please read below. These drivers are using a technique called "No Lift Shifting". With this technique you are able to shift the car and keep the RPMs/boost up while transitioning into the next gear. Below I have listed the steps needed to perform this technique. 1. Get your vehicle's RPMs to redline. 2. Press in the clutch while still pressing in on the accelerator (You can fully engage the accelerator or engage it 1/2 way depending on your Rev Limiter). 3. Shift into the next gear and then release the clutch immediately afterward. The better you know your car's Rev Limiter area and Horse Power peak the better you will be able to pull this technique off. Trust me, if you start to practice and use this technique you will be dropping seconds off your lap/pass times immediately. The reason the shifts seem more prolonged in this video is due to a glitchy replay mode. If you've ever tried to make a movie then you know exactly what I'm talking about. Thanks for watching!
