Photographer and filmmaker Neil Selkirk talks about discovering the world of Diane Arbus, the unique nature of her prints, and the method behind them. This film was produced on the occasion of Diane Arbus: Untitled, on view at David Zwirner, New York from November 2—December 15, 2018. Neil Selkirk is a photographer and filmmaker. In 1971, Selkirk became the only person authorized to print from Arbus’s negatives and continued collaborating with the estate until 2007, when the Metropolitan Museum of Art acquired her archive. His work is represented in the permanent collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and other museums and private collections nationwide.
