Good morning! Today is our last full day in Sapa, and we’re heading to Sapa Market to shop for souvenirs and pasalubong. Our day just started, and it’s already been eventful. While we were buying souvenirs at the Sapa Market, we realized we were short on VND. I had to either exchange money or pay in USD. We decided to exchange money at the nearest bank, but unfortunately, they didn’t accept one of our $100 bills. I was really worried because it was a large amount, but they explained it was due to a small tear on the bill, even though I got it from the airport. I told the shop owner I’d return after getting more bills from the hotel, but she kindly said it was okay and accepted the bill despite the bank's refusal. So, here's a tip: always check your bills, as banks tend to be stricter. We just checked into what is probably the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been to—Hotel de la Coupole MGallery. From Phung Nam Hotel, we paid for transportation, which was just over 100 pesos. Even though the two hotels are close to each other, we opted for a car since we had luggage. One thing I love about Vietnam is how much cheaper things are compared to back home. Honestly, I’m really excited for today because we get to experience this 5-star hotel in Sapa, Vietnam. The staff here are very accommodating—the check-in time is 2 PM, but since we arrived at noon, they kindly allowed us to check in early. We were welcomed with a refreshing lemon drink in the lobby, and they escorted us to our room. We booked this hotel through Agoda for P8,930 for two people, and we paid an additional P2,500 for an extra bed and P1,150 for breakfast for an extra guest. The room has a charming French vibe. Here's a tour! Every guest of the hotel has access to the pool, gym, sauna, and complimentary breakfast. After dinner, we took one last stroll around the hotel before heading back to our room. It’s incredible but also a bit sad to realize that our Vietnam trip is almost over. As first-time travelers abroad, we can confidently say that Vietnam is a safe, affordable, and dream destination for anyone looking to experience travel outside the Philippines. For anyone watching my vlog and on a budget, please note that these are not the typical prices in Vietnam. This is the most expensive hotel we've stayed at, and it's our third hotel here. You can check out my previous vlogs for the itinerary and expenses. #travel #vietnamtravelguide #sapavietnam #vietnamadventures #5starhotel
