A popular Korean after school snack, Bibim Mandu is packed with flavors and textures that make an A+ meal! This easy recipe requires little effort using frozen dumplings, so make sure you’re hungry and ready to dig in! 🔸Ingredients⁠ ⬇️⁠ 1 lb 4 oz Dumplings 1 oz Red Cabbage, thinly sliced 1 oz White Cabbage, thinly sliced 1 oz Carrot, julienned 1 Onion, thinly sliced ½ oz Scallion, julienned ¼ Cucumber, thinly sliced ½ oz Perilla Leaves, thinly sliced ½ cup Water Cooking Oil 🔸Sauce ⬇️⁠ 6 tbsp Vinegared Gochujang Sauce (Chogochujang) 1 tbsp Garlic, minced 2 tbsp Red Pepper Flakes (Gochugaru) 1 tbsp Roasted Sesame Seeds 1 tbsp Sesame Oil 1 tbsp Soy Sauce 1 tbsp Apple Vinegar ½ tbsp Oligo Syrup 🔸Direction ⬇️⁠ 1. Add oil to a pan, place the dumplings, pour in water, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Check occasionally to make sure the bottoms of the dumplings don’t burn. Keep flipping the dumplings to ensure all sides get crispy. 2. Combine all the sauce ingredients thoroughly. Pour the sauce over the perilla leaves, onion, white cabbage, red cabbage, and carrots, then mix well. 3. Plate the dumplings and mixed vegetables, then garnish with sesame seeds and cucumber before serving.
