Last week we smoked the smallest stick in the pack... this week, believe it or not, it's actually NOT the biggest, despite being a full 6 x 50! Montecristo of course is a household name when it comes to cigars, but this isn't from Cuba... it's better. It's a Nicaraguan Puro! This magnificently presented cigar is made in Dominica from cuban seed tobacco grown in Nicaragua... and the youngest tobacco in this stick was harvested in 2010! Yep, there's 12 years of age on the YOUNGEST tobacco in this stick! The Espada Guard is considered a medium bodied cigar, and the flavours are complex and feature a rare melding of light cream notes with rich earth tones, some pepper, nuts, cedar, you name it it's in there somewhere. This cigar is truly a treat, and should keep us on our toes for at least an hour and a half! It's going to be a good one, and maybe a long one, so grab a drink from your top shelf and settle in!
