Artist Vlog: Finding Studio Flow

Heya, Happy Spooky Season friend! I hope you're doing well and keeping cozy. I've been making lots of artwork in the studio and wanted to share some of it as well as give an honest look into what my practice can be: painting, cleaning, setting up surfaces, building grounds, reworking old paintings, covering up old ones- it's quite a mix of activity, but one thing is for sure- it's a constant. In order to keep that momentum going it's important for me to navigate judiciously and see where I can focus my efforts best. Sometimes there are days I don't feel like painting, but I still show up cause there's always something I can give my attention to, a sketch, a woodworking project, a reorganizing, computer work, research, website maintenance, etc. Balancing this out with good rest is just as important, on that note, I trust you are taking good care & hope you enjoy this little check-in.
