I had the pleasure of joining one of my local metal detecting groups (North Detectorists) on a group dig in the Black-Isle here in the Scottish Highlands. The land was previously undetected. I try to make most of these digs, not only because it gives an opportunity to detect on new land but because all funds raised are for charities of the farmers choosing.
