We were warmly invited by Andréa Tirado and her husband, who are passionate about preserving and supporting Chilean musical traditions. Inside the Uta, we were immersed in a magical experience, feeling transported to the heights of the Andes Mountains through the sounds of original instruments like the Zampoñas, Toyos, Charango, Charangón, and Quena. Together, they weave the haunting and soulful melodies of authentic Andina music. This Global Sound Concert is a tribute to tradition, community, and the timeless spirit of indigenous music. “The music I make is identified as a Tarapaque romantic ballad, but it is music with Andean elements and instruments. The experience of recording with Josh, was something magnificent, seeing him with so much energy and enjoying my art, that for me, is priceless ... besides I could not believe that my music was being captured by the engineer who has captured Adele, Sting, Alicia Keys and so many others that I admire. It was an important milestone in my almost 17 years of musical career. I thank life, that Josh, has selected me to capture my music and has treated me as his favorite.
