Not your ordinary Banana Bread Ingredients: 3 Medium Ripe Banana Mashed ½ cup Milk (Use Almond Milk for vegan) ½ cup Brown Sugar ¼ cup oil (can use melted coconut oil) 3/4 cup All Purpose Flour (Can use whole wheat flour, may change the texture) ¼ Almond Flour (Gluten Free) 1 tsp Baking Powder ¾ tsp Baking Soda ¼ tsp Salt 1 tbsp Vinegar (I prefer Apple Cider Vinegar) (Important do not skip) 2 tsp Vanilla Extract Optional: ¼ cup chopped walnut or any nuts of your choice ¼ cup chocolate chip Topping: Granulated Sugar (Turbinado Sugar) Method: • Preheat the oven for 350 F or 177 C • Line or grease loaf pan. Can use a lined muffin pan instead of loaf pan (bake time for muffin pan will be 15 minutes) • In a bowl, whisk together mashed banana, milk, oil, vanilla extract and brown sugar and keep it aside • Whisk together all the dry ingredients including nuts and chocolate • Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined (Do not over mix) • Lastly, stir in apple cider vinegar till combined • Pour the batter in a grease 7-inch pan • Top the batter with sugar and bake for 35 to 45 minutes rotating halfway • Transfer pan in wire rack and let the banana bread cool in pan for 10 minutes Note: • Baking time might differ adjust according to your oven • Vinegar is especially important do not miss this step FOLLOW ME: FACEBOOK: / sweetcakesandbake INSTAGRAM: / sweetcakesandbakes26byrushme
